Important Information

You should carefully read the following Terms and Condition.
Your purchase or use of our products implies that you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
If any of the conditions are deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining conditions.

General Terms and Conditions

Phone, written, or online orders must include all data requested on the order form.
All orders are normally processed internally within 48 hours of receipt.
All item shipping is subject to availability at the manufacturer.
Notification of delays in shipping will be forwarded immediately upon receipt from our suppliers.

Special Terms and Conditions

All products are subjected to the terms and conditions imposed by the manufacturer or supplier from which Optimal Handling Solutions Inc makes it’s purchases.  
These are in addition to standard terms and conditions, and must be read and acknowledged prior to submitting any orders.


All prices are subject to change without notice.
Goods will be invoiced at the rate quoted on the order submitted.
Future orders or repeat orders will be quoted at the rate which is current on the date of proposal.


If it’s not possible to deliver all items in one shipment, Optimal Handling Solutions, Inc. will complete the order in several shipments until the order is complete.
Orders for multiple items can be shipped from several locations around the country.  OHS always gives a freight quote before shipping and with few preapproved exceptions, or unusual buyer requested exceptions will adhere to that quote.


COD orders are not accepted.
Payment is due with the order.  
We accept all major credit cards.

Sales Tax

Sales Tax is due on all orders shipped to Wisconsin, unless a current Exemption Certificate is supplied.
Sales Tax will also be due on all orders in any state which requires us to collect and remit sales and use tax.


Optimal Handling Solutions Inc. is a dealership and we offer products from manufacturers which we consider to be equal to or better than similar products in the North American market.  
We also offer the products to best meet the needs of our buyers; considering weights and frequency of use.


All warranty issues are the responsibility of the manufacturer for the term of their warranty.  If the customer has what they feel is a warranty issue, please contact us and we will help to resolve it under the manufacturer’s terms. No item may be returned without a Return Merchandise Authorization Number from our manufacturer.  Contact us with the issue so we can get that for you from the manufacturer.  Defective items will be repaired, replaced or refunded at our discretion.  
This warranty does not cover deliberate destruction or damage due to vandalism, abnormal use, or normal wear and tear in the working environment.


Specifications in any of Optimal Handling Solutions Inc. brochures, documents or websites were correct at time of publication and subject to change.
Optimal Handling Solutions Inc. is continually modifying or improving its product line and so are our suppliers.  Consequently, Optimal Handling Solutions Inc. and its suppliers reserve the right to improve, alter, discontinue, or replace specifications without notice.
We offer and suggest you review any available drawings and specifications at the time of purchase to receive the most up-to-date specifications.

Shipping and Handling 

The FOB point is when the transportation carrier accepts the shipment.
Unless specified “collect,” all shipments will be subject to shipping and handling charges added to the invoice.
This amount does not necessarily reflect discounts between the carrier and Optimal Handling Solutions Inc.
Unless a specific routing is requested, all shipments will be at the discretion of the shipping department.
If specific routing is requested, and the customer’s freight number is provided, Optimal Handling Solutions Inc. will do its best to use the specified carrier.  Any billing will be between the carrier and the buyer.

Specific Shipping Dates

Optimal Handling Solutions Inc. will attempt to arrange delivery on specific dates if requested, but can in no case be held responsible for any delays prior to shipment due to the production scheduling at our manufacturers, delay by suppliers, fires, strikes, acts of God, war or any other causes, nor with any delays by the transportation carrier.
All reasonable efforts will be made to provide notification of delays in either shipping or transit.

Loss or Damage in Transit

Optimal Handling Solutions Inc. is not responsible for any loss or damage in transit.
We will, however, assist the buyer in processing the complaint if all the correction procedures have been followed.
Once the transportation carrier signs for receipt of the merchandise as complete and in good condition, the transportation carrier is responsible for delivering the merchandize to the buyer in complete and good condition.
Upon your receipt of the shipment, open all cartons immediately and examine all products for damage or shortages.
Failure to do so may invalidate any claim against the carrier.
Do not refuse any part of a shipment.
Do not sign the delivery receipt or Bill of Lading until all damages or shortages have been noted.
If you accept the shipment without proper notification, you do so at your own risk.
You must file your written claim for damage or shortages within 15 days of delivery.
Contact Optimal Handling Solutions Inc. immediately after inspecting your shipment if there are any questions or problems.


Written authorization is required prior to returning any goods for any reason.
Please provide all basic information from the invoice, description and quantity of the items, and the reason(s) for the return.

You will receive a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) with instructions on how to return the items freight prepaid to the designated location.  Upon receipt, the items will be inspected and appropriate action taken.  Goods must be in in unused condition and in original packaging.  Retail, commercial and government customers must request an RGA within 10 days of receiving the order for any refund of the purchase price. (Subject to the restocking fee)

Credit for goods return will depend on the value to Optimal Handling Solutions Inc.’s suppliers and are subject to that supplier’s restocking fee and a fair charge to cover the expenses of shipping, handling, inspection, refinishing, etc., providing that the products are received in good condition with transportation charges prepaid.  Generally this is 15% of the value of the product, plus shipping.

There is no return for custom products build to your specifications.  There is no return or refund for repair parts.

During the purchase process, we will share your information with certain intermediaries (e.g. our shipping carriers, payment processing vendors, product manufacturers) strictly to process and ship your order.


The Optimal Handling Solutions Pledge protects you while you shop at Optimal Handling so that you never have to worry about credit card safety. We guarantee that every transaction you make with us will be safe and secure. Our servers use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), an encryption technology that works with Netscape, Internet Explorer, Foxfire, Chrome, and mobile browsers, so that only we can read a buyer’s personal information. We reveal only the last four digits of your credit card number when confirming an order. However, we will transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing.

Optimal Handling Safety reserves the right to change, modify, add or remove portions of the policy at any time. Any changes will be posted in this document and will become effective immediately upon being posted unless we tell you otherwise.

Safe Shopping Guarantee

Our security measures are designed to prevent anyone from stealing and using your credit card number. In addition, consumer protection laws protect you against the unauthorized use of your credit card. Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, if your credit card is used without your authorization, your liability for those fraudulent charges cannot exceed $50. If someone steals your credit card or credit card number, your liability is limited to $50 no matter how much the thief charges to your account. If your credit card provider does hold you liable for any part of this $50, we will cover the entire liability for you up to the full $50.

We will cover this liability only if the unauthorized use of your credit card resulted through no fault of your own from purchases made at our website while using the secure server. In even of unauthorized use of your credit card, you must notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting of rules and procedures.
